"Aww, he really has gotten big!" He chuckled and watched the video intently. "How is Ferrah doing? I haven’t seen her in ages either."
"He has!" Sophie nodded enthusiastically. "He still sleeps on my bed too." She laughed, that dog was stubborn, but she loved the ball of fluff. "She’s good!"
"Hi - er, have we met?" He cocked his head to the side. "You’re the DJ, right? I mean," he hurriedly corrected himself, "the other DJ. Not the Administrator, or the … DJ …” He bit his lip. Yeah, that was how to impress her. “I mean the DJ here,” he finished lamely.
"That’s me~" She smiled, blushing a bit, pleased that he remembered her. "White Rabbit DJ. One of them. Yes." She nodded. "You’re Patch." She nodded, it wasn’t so much a question but a statement. She remembered his name quite well. Even if they’d only really spoken once he was nice and being kind made and impression on the bunny.
"Music, for me, is medicine. I’m at my happiest when I’m on stage or making music in the studio."
Off for the night~ I’ll try to come back tomorrow :3 I’ll stop being a bum and at least get Soph up to proper activity level again.
"Ooooh, that’s great. Yeah, they’re like big socks, but you don’t wear them. Last year there were presents in them, so I’m making one for him too." It took Thackery a moment to remember who Noodles was, "Oh! Noodles! Do you have any pictures of him? I haven’t seen him since he was no bigger than my knees."
"Ooog that sounds good. I didn’t have one last year, I just heard about ‘em." She nodded. "I want to get one and fill it all with candy…" She giggled, no her sweet tooth hadn’t changed one bit in the time she’d been busy. "I do" She nodded vigorously and dug out her cell phone and showed her the last video, one Ferrah had taken when she’d been up from Underland with Jax a few days ago for a quick visit. It was showing a perfect size comparison. Sophie was first, just hugging the large husky (who wasn’t even fully grown yet, but Sophie was fairly petite anyway.) And withing a few moments the video escalated to Sophie laughing hysterically as Noodles jumped in her lap and ended up ‘attacking’ her with kisses.
"Bout the same. New songs to learn for Christmas again and trying to make Jonnie a stocking like Ma used to make us. How is everything at the house?" He smiled, honestly just glad to see her again. He missed his best friend.
"Yeah, I’ve been working on a new playlist!" She giggled, she and Ada had been DJing since Nivens no longer was, so she was working on mixing in some Christmas-y holiday type songs. "A Stocking? Oh!" She’d only had one Christmas up here and still wasn’t entirely sure of everything. "The things that you put little gifts in right?" She smiled hopefully. That was right, right? Was it..? "Good! Noodles is so big now."
Thackery hugged her tightly, “It feels like far too long! How’ve you been, Soph?”
Sophie hugged him back and grinned widely. “Good, busy with work and everything.” She giggled. “How ‘bout you?”
"I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever."
A Day in The Park || Sophie & Mellie || AU
Fumbling with her hair and then her own fingers once her hair fell free from them-almost reached back down to grab her curls once more, but resisted the want to. Perhaps she shouldn’t have asked what it had been? Maybe she was being too nosy? Though the other girl had admitted it first, but she just wanted to make sure.
Clearing her throat, Mellie met the eyes of Sophie, who was giving a smile, though she was feeling neverous. “D-Did you say that you weren’t human ‘bout ten minutes ago? I’m just curious since it seemed like you said ‘program’. I wasn’t hearin’ things, I’m sure that I wasn’t.” Thankfully the band was still playing,so hopefully their new odd conversation wouldn’t be heard.
Sophie suddenly giggled, realizing when exactly Mellie meant and nodded. “That’s what I said.” She brushed her hand over one ear, coyly turning it so the underside would be visible to Mellie but to very few others and the circuits that traced the inside of them glowed softly before fading as not to attract too much attention. it wouldn’t be too out of the ordinary here, there were plenty of programs. But she didn’t want the attention on her should too many realize it was a little it bit odd.
So she went back to speaking with Mellie rather than showing off the circuits and possibly attracting attention. “I’m from a world called The Grid, A computer to you.” She explained. It was always a strange thing to explain as, well until she came up here she’d never had to. It was rather silly and kind of strange to be trying to explain her existence. She’d gotten used to it though but it didn’t make it much less awkward for the bunny.
Hungry || Sophie and Ada
"A new development, best as I know," Ada said, forcing her tone to be light. "Having a nest is helpful, yes. I assume the one you awoke in is to be yours, in some sense." They reached the room Ada had claimed. It smelled faintly of vanilla and metal, but the vampire paid it no mind, moving to the closet and removing a white sundress that wasn’t her style. "Will this do?"
"I was assuming, but I have nothing in it… So I was unsure if I had simply… claimed it for the night." She was apt to do that… she thought… Maybe not. Eh, it didn’t matter the room was hers now, it didn’t smell like dog and she was fairly certain that there were very few, if any, humans who would even bother with attempting to fight her for the room. She’d finally find that meal if someone did. "Smells a bit like mine… perhaps they are ours as well…" Sophie looked it over and tilted her head to the side looking over the outfit. "I think so, yes." She was certain there was a black hoodie in her room that would look a bit more her style with the dress.
